School Food Handler

GENERAL DESCRIPTION- Part Time, up to 10 hours/week

The food service handler will ensure food and supplies are received, stored and delivered at the appropriate times to various kitchens within the district. Assist in the organization management of centralized food storage.

GENERAL FUNCTION AND DUTIES

• Loads, delivers and unloads food and supplies in a timely manner
• Assist in the organization of USDA commodity food deliveries
• Keeps an accurate inventory of all supplies being transported between schools
• Performs other duties as required by the food service director
• Delivers meals to off site schools in appropriate time frame, utilizing proper food safety procedures
