LOCATION OF POSITION: Fairport NY 14450; Rochester City School District

TERM OF EMPLOYMENT: July 9, 2026 - August 19, 2026; Time frame varies with each assignment. Full Time, Part Time, 1:1 and Substitute positions available.

Mandatory Summer Set-Up Meetings: June 4th = OConnor Academy, eStart, Transition/Employment, Creekside (BPA Unit + TES Staff) June 11th = Creekside (BUP Unit) June 12th = Bird/Morgan

SALARY RANGE: $21.73 - $34.01 per hour (or higher pending contract negotiations) or your 2026-27 rate in this title for current Monroe One Boces staff Actual Salary Is Dependent Upon Education, Experience and Contract.

DUTIES:

1. Monitor physical status of children regarding chronic diseases (i.e. epilepsy, diabetes) in addition to other disabilities (i.e. developmental, emotional).
2. Dispense and monitor medications and treatments.
3. Consult with staff regarding medical and developmental status of children.
4. Liaison with physicians, community agencies, parents, students and staff.
5. Provide First Aid to students and staff.
6. Work under the direction of the School Nurse.
7. Accompany student on community trips as needed.
8. Accompany student on bus runs as needed.
9. Provide personal care for 1:1 student as needed.
10. Ability to run to emergencies and perform CPR.

QUALIFICATIONS:

1. Civil Service eligibility as an Licensed Practical Nurse: A. Graduation from a NYS approved School of Practical Nursing, OR B. Possession of a valid NYS Registered Professional Nursing or NYS Licensed Professional Nursing license.
2. CPR/AED Certification required.
3. Pediatric experience preferred.
4. Physically able to perform essential functions of the position (with or without reasonable accommodation), including running to emergencies.
