AMN Healthcare is partnering with a school district in a north suburb of Minneapolis, MN to hire an Occupational Therapist (OT) to cover an FMLA leave from mid-November through approximately mid-February. In this short-term role, you will support students’ ability to participate fully in classroom and school activities by providing assessments, individualized intervention planning, and collaborative consultation with teachers and families. Responsibilities include promoting fine motor, sensory, and functional skills that enhance educational success. A current OT license and experience in school-based practice are recommended. Graduate from an accredited Occupational Therapy program
Active Occupational Therapy (OT) license in MN
Educational License through MN PELS B
Completion of a criminal record and background check
Preferred Qualifications
Initial certification through NBCOT
Clear, articulate communication skills
Ability to explain results to a varied audience
Candidates with previous school experience a plus!
