School Personal Care Assistant

Location: Cranston, RI
Salary: $21.00 USD Hourly - $23.00 USD Hourly
Description: We are looking for a skilled, dedicated Personal Care Assistant to support an elementary special education classroom. This individual will work directly within the classroom setting to provide essential behavioral and academic support, ensuring a safe, inclusive, and productive learning environment for students with diverse needs.Responsibilities:

• Provide one-on-one and classroom-wide support to students within a special education setting.
• Implement behavioral intervention strategies and support plans to manage challenging behaviors effectively.
• Help maintain a structured, positive, and safe classroom environment.
• Monitor student progress and collaborate closely with teachers and support staff to meet individual student goals.
• Assist students with daily academic tasks and reinforce lessons delivered by the classroom teacher.

Qualifications & Requirements:

• High School Diploma or GED.
• Prior experience working in a school setting, specifically dealing with behavioral challenges.
