Position Overview

We are seeking a Physical Therapist (PT) for a part-time, school-based opportunity in Marysville, Washington. This is a .4 FTE position, approximately 16 hours per week, with a small caseload and a highly flexible schedule.

The school district is willing to work directly with the selected PT to develop a schedule that works well for both the candidate and the schools.

Assignment Details

• .4 FTE / Approximately 16 hours per week
• 14-student caseload
• ASAP through June 2027
• Flexible scheduling
• Travel between multiple school buildings
• Schools are located very close together and are essentially on the same campus, making travel between sites minimal
• Collaborative school-based environment

Responsibilities

• Provide school-based physical therapy services to students
• Complete evaluations and assessments as appropriate
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans
• Support students' mobility, positioning, accessibility, and functional participation in the school environment
• Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to students' educational plans
• Maintain appropriate documentation and progress notes
• Collaborate with teachers, families, special education staff, and other related service providers
• Travel between nearby school buildings as needed

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapy program
• Active or eligible Washington State Physical Therapist license
• School-based or pediatric experience preferred
• Strong communication, organization, and collaboration skills
