School Physical Therapist | Paterson, New Jersey

Step into a rewarding contract opportunity as a Physical Therapist serving K-12 students across multiple schools for the upcoming academic year. From September 4, 2026, through June 25, 2027, play an important role in supporting the learning and mobility needs of students within a dynamic schooldistrict near Paterson, NJ. Enjoy a full-time schedule of 35 hours per week, Monday through Friday, from 8:30AM to 3:15PM, and experience the variety of working at different locations throughout the district.

Preferred candidates will bring experience in pediatric and school-based physical therapy, demonstrating a commitment to creating inclusive and adaptive learning environments. Your positive impact will extend to students of all ages, providing interventions that foster independence, participation, and academic success.

Qualifications & Experience:

• Active and valid New Jersey Physical Therapy license required
• Experience in school or pediatric settings strongly preferred
• Ability to travel between multiple schools within the district
• Meet all NJ requirements including TB test, physical examination, and fingerprinting
• Comfortable with a virtual interview process via Zoom

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver PT evaluations and treatments in accordance with IEPs
• Collaborate with teachers, staff, and families to optimize student outcomes
• Keep accurate documentation in compliance with state and district guidelines
• Contribute expertise to multi-disciplinary teams for student success district-wide
• Provide consultation and training to staff as needed
