    School Psychologist – Full Time | Gastonia, NC | 2026-2027 School Year | Up to $54/hour
     

    Position Details:

    • K-12 Caseload
    • Starting August 2026
    • 1.0 FTE, Monday-Friday
       

    About the Role

    Hello, School Psychologists! Ampersand Therapy is hiring a full-time School Psychologist for a K–12 school setting in Gastonia, NC. In this role, you’ll play a critical part in student success by conducting evaluations, supporting IEP development, and collaborating with school teams. We welcome new clinicians and seasoned professionals alike!

    What You’ll Do

    • Conduct psychoeducational evaluations and assessments
    • Write comprehensive evaluation reports and IEP documentation
    • Participate in IEP meetings and multidisciplinary team discussions
    • Provide progress monitoring and maintain compliant documentation
    • Collaborate with teachers, families, and special education staff
    • Support student behavioral, social-emotional, and academic needs
    • Assist in developing appropriate interventions and supports
    • Ensure timelines and compliance with state and federal regulations
       

    What We’re Looking For

    • NCDPI License in School Psychology
    • Must have LPA license from North Carolina Psychology Board
    • Strong assessment, writing, and collaboration skills
    • NASP membership a plus
