Position Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and collaborative School Psychologist to support students, families, and school teams within a Jackson-area school district. This role focuses on promoting student success through comprehensive psychological services, including evaluations, consultations, and intervention planning.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct psychoeducational evaluations and interpret assessment data
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to eligibility determinations
- Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and support staff
- Provide consultation and behavioral support strategies
- Assist in developing and implementing intervention plans
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation in compliance with district and state requirements
Qualifications
- Master's or Doctoral degree in School Psychology
- Active Georgia School Psychologist certification/licensure
- Strong knowledge of special education laws and evaluation processes
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills
- Previous school-based experience preferred
