School Psychologist

• As a K–8 school-based School Psychologist in West Chicago, Illinois, your days will include:
• Conducting psychoeducational evaluations to assess cognitive, academic, social, emotional, and behavioral functioning.
• Participating in the development and implementation of IEPs, 504 Plans, and behavior intervention plans.
• Providing individual and group counseling services to students.
• Collaborating with educators, parents, and administrators to create supportive strategies for student success.
• Consulting on Multi-Tiered Systems of Support (MTSS) and Response to Intervention (RTI) processes.
• Assisting in crisis response and behavioral interventions as needed.
• Maintaining detailed documentation and comply with federal (IDEA), state, and district regulations.

Job Details

• Position: Full-time, onsite school-based contract; 1 opening
• Hours: 32.5 hours per week; Monday–Friday, 7:25 a.m.–2:55 p.m.
• Caseload: District-wide support for students in kindergarten through 8th grade
• Assignment Dates: ASAP–June 3, 2027
• Interviews: Virtual interviews available ASAP

Successful Candidates Possess

• Masters or Doctorate Degree in School Psychology (required)
• Illinois School Psychologist license and Professional Educator License (PEL) required
• School-based experience preferred
• The ability to work in the U.S. without a sponsor
