Summary: Assures smooth and efficient operation of the school and
enhances the productivity and efficiency of the administration by
performing the following duties.
Essential Functions
- Compiles student records (e.g., birth certificates, transfers,
immunization, etc.) for the purpose of meeting enrollment
requirements (state, federal, and/or district requirements).
- Maintains student records and files for the purpose of documenting
and/or providing reliable information. Performs enrollment
activities (e.g., inputting student data, updating automated student
information system, etc.).
- Keeps attendance records enters late arrivals and early departures.
- Processes a variety of documents and materials (e.g., new
registrations, transcript requests, etc.) for the purpose of
disseminating information to appropriate parties.
- Assists other personnel as may be required (e.g., school secretary,
counselor, etc.) for the purpose of supporting them in the
completion of their work activities.
- Assists the guidance counselor in evaluating incoming student
transcripts for the purpose of ensuring their conformance with
district grading, curriculum, and course credit systems.

Equipment
Uses standard office equipment such as personal computer, copy machine,
fax machine, telephone.
Travel Requirements
Limited travel to and from meetings may be required.

supervisor as required.
Ability to establish and maintain cooperative working relationships with
others contacted in the course of work.
Ability to carry out instructions furnished in written or oral form.
Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide, and perform arithmetic
operations.
Ability to understand, apply and use personal computers and software
applications (e.g., Word, Excel, PowerPoint, the Internet, Outlook,
electronic mail).

Ability to process paperwork accurately according to standardized
procedures.

employees, and others.
