Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) - School - (SLP - School)
StartDate: 11/10/2026 Available Shifts: 7 D Pay Rate: $2207.00 - $2274.00
Provide individual and small group speech therapy services for students of all ages across multiple school sites. You will conduct about 8 sessions per day, including time for lunch, prep, and Medicaid logs. The caseload is around 25 students, and responsibilities include speech and language evaluations, developing and implementing IEP goals, tracking progress, and maintaining documentation. This position is full-time, Monday through Friday, with 35 hours per week. Candidates must meet New York State Department of Education requirements for school-based SLPs. Previous school-based experience and strong communication skills are recommended 1. Required Qualifications
Speech/Language Pathologist, School
References: 1 Reference in entire work history
Master’s Degree in Speech Language Pathology (SLP) or Related Field
Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) from the American Speech Language Hearing Association (ASHA)
State License is Required to Start the Assignment
Preferred Qualifications
Previous experience working in a School Setting, Early Childhood, or Pediatrics
Strong Knowledge of Speech and Language Development, Assessment tools, and therapeutic techniques.
Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills
Ability to work collaboratively with a diverse team of educators, parents, and community members.
Maintain accurate and confidential student records in compliance with federal and state regulations
