Exciting Opportunity with PediaStaff!

PediaStaff is seeking a dedicated Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to support preschool students in a therapeutic school setting in the South Holland, IL area. This position offers a manageable caseload and the opportunity to work with young learners with diverse communication, developmental, and special education needs.

Position Details

• Location: South Holland, IL area
• Pay Rate: $58–$70 per hour
• Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–3:00 PM
• Hours: 32.5 paid hours per week, 6.5 hours per day
• Lunch: 30-minute unpaid lunch daily
• Start Date: ASAP
• End Date: June 1, 2027
• Setting: Therapeutic school, Pre-K
• Caseload: Approximately 20 students across two preschool classrooms

Key Responsibilities

• Provide speech and language therapy services to preschool students with diverse communication needs.
• Conduct evaluations and develop individualized treatment plans.
• Develop, implement, and monitor IEP goals.
• Support students with speech, language, social communication, and developmental delays.
• Collaborate with teachers, paraprofessionals, families, and special education teams.
• Participate in IEP meetings and multidisciplinary team discussions.
• Maintain accurate documentation and track student progress.

Qualifications

• Active Illinois Professional Educator License (PEL) with appropriate SLP endorsement required.
• Experience working with preschool-aged students preferred.
• Experience in special education or therapeutic school settings preferred.
• Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational skills.
• Comfortable supporting students with complex developmental and behavioral needs.
