School to Work - Manufacturing (Gearing) - 2nd Shift

We are looking for a talented School to Work - Manufacturing ( Gearing ) student to join our 2nd Shift team specializing in Manufacturing for our Cummins Inc. facility in Fletcher, NC .

*This position will be on-site in Fletcher, NC.

This is an onsite role to assist the Cummins Drivetrain and Braking Systems plant Gearing team with a variety of projects.

• Compliance and Reporting: Reporting any work-related injuries, illnesses, incidents, or hazards ensures compliance with HSE standards and promotes a culture of safety.

Education :

• For the Fletcher SHOP STW program, we request that current students attend BlueRidge Community College , and enrolled in a CNC Machining or related program.
• This is an onsite position. Work schedule can vary as needed to accommodate the students regular school schedule.

Experience:

• Request that successful candidate work a routine schedule up to the STW limit of up to 40 hours per week. There is room for flexibility when needed.
• Successful applicant will be working onsite hours supporting Gearing at the CDBS in Fletcher, NC.

Hourly Rate: $20.00/hr

Shift Premium: $1.00/hr
