- Pay: $67-76.97/hr.
- 6-month assignment with possibility for extension or conversion based on performance and budget.
Responsibilities:
- Develop, implement, and optimize automated laboratory workflows to support preclinical DMPK studies and bioanalytical assays.
- Operate, program, and troubleshoot automated laboratory equipment, including Hamilton, Echo (Labcyte), and GBG platforms.
- Support automation of immunoassays, peptide stability, protein binding, sample preparation, cell culture maintenance, and cell-based assays.
- Collaborate with scientific, engineering, IT, and software teams to integrate robotic systems and improve laboratory workflows.
- Analyze scientific data, maintain data integrity, update SOPs, and provide training and technical support to laboratory staff.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Automation Sciences, Computer Science, Biology, Chemistry, or a related field.
- Hands-on experience with Hamilton, Echo (Labcyte), and GBG platforms, including programming, method development, and troubleshooting.
- Experience with laboratory automation, liquid handlers, dispensers, washers, centrifuges, and automated workflows.
- Experience in pharmaceutical, biotechnology, or bioanalytical laboratory environments.
- Familiarity with robotic scheduling systems, such as HighRes BioSolutions, Biosero, or Thermo Momentum.
- Experience developing SOPs, implementing automation workflows, and using electronic laboratory notebooks.
- Programming experience with VB, C#, LabVIEW, or similar languages.
- Experience with electromechanical design, assembly, or laboratory automation integration.
