Screed & Roller Operator

Job Summary

As a Screed & Roller Operator at Huntzberry Brothers, Inc., you will work with a paving crew in a safe and effective manner to ensure timely completion of our projects. Safety is our #1 priority!

Responsibilities and Duties

Operate paver screed, 1 TN, 5 TN and 10 TN rollers Compact asphalt material using rollers of various sizes Perform daily checks on equipment to ensure proper operating condition which includes greasing and checking fluids Keep exterior components (including tracks) cleaned out daily Park and store equipment safely at the end of each day Follow safety regulations including OSHA and local jurisdictions Cooperate with others in a team environment Accept direction from supervisor Other duties as assigned

Qualifications and Skills

Working knowledge of and understand the screed on an 8' and 10' paver High school diploma or certification in a skilled trade Ability to read and follow construction site drawings, diagrams and specifications is preferred Valid drivers license and reliable transportation Pass pre-employment drug screen and background check
