SCRM Process Development Project Manager

We are seeking a highly motivated and collaborative Project Manager to lead a Supply Chain Risk Management (SCRM) initiative for a leading aerospace and defense organization. This individual will drive an enterprise-wide transformation focused on strengthening supply chain resilience through business process improvement, technology implementation, and cross-functional collaboration.

The ideal candidate has extensive project management experience leading complex business transformation initiatives, preferably within aerospace and defense supply chain organizations.

• Lead the Supply Chain Risk Management project from initiation through implementation.
• Develop and execute the project roadmap, including scope, milestones, timelines, budget, and resource planning.
• Serve as the central point of coordination between executive leadership, business units, and subject matter experts.
• Monitor project progress, identify risks, remove roadblocks, and ensure timely delivery within budget.
• Lead cross-functional teams through influence while maintaining strong stakeholder engagement.
• Provide regular project status updates and executive-level presentations.
• Develop and implement a comprehensive supply chain resilience strategy aligned with organizational objectives.
• Establish a standardized risk monitoring framework and early warning system across multiple business units.
• Support incident response planning and business continuity efforts for supply chain disruptions.
• Utilize analytics and scenario modeling to forecast potential supply chain risks and monitor key resilience metrics.
• Collaborate with business leaders to improve supply chain processes through technology and automation.

Required Qualifications

• 10+ years of project management experience leading complex business process improvement and automation initiatives.
• Proven experience managing large, cross-functional projects from planning through execution.
• Strong stakeholder management and communication skills with the ability to influence without direct authority.
• Experience with supplier risk assessment, business continuity planning, incident response, scenario modeling, and business process analysis.
• Demonstrated success delivering projects on time, within budget, and with high stakeholder satisfaction.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, organizational, and change management skills.
• Project Management Professional (PMP) certification or another nationally recognized project management certification.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience within aerospace and defense supply chain organizations.
• Experience working with international teams, particularly in Europe.
• Knowledge of aerospace and defense regulatory requirements and commercial supply chain resilience standards.
• Professional certifications in supply chain risk management such as APICS, ISM, or RIMS.
• Experience leveraging AI tools to improve workflows, increase efficiency, and enhance business processes.
• Understanding of responsible AI practices, including governance, risk assessment, bias mitigation, and quality assurance.

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, Engineering, Project Management, or a related field preferred.
• PMP or equivalent nationally recognized project management certification required.

Pay Range: $49.00 - $54.00 per hour (Depending on experience and qualifications)
