Job Title: Scrum Master (Finance / Banking Domain)Location: Alpharetta, GA (Hybrid – 3 days onsite)
Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Scrum Master with a strong background in the Financial Services domain to lead Agile teams and drive successful project delivery. The ideal candidate will be a servant leader and change agent who can foster collaboration, remove impediments, and ensure continuous improvement across cross-functional teams.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and facilitate Agile ceremonies including daily stand-ups, sprint planning, sprint reviews, and retrospectives.
- Act as a servant leader to Agile squads, ensuring adherence to Scrum principles and best practices.
- Collaborate closely with Product Owners to manage and prioritize the product backlog.
- Identify and remove impediments to ensure smooth team progress and delivery.
- Monitor team performance using Agile metrics and dashboards; drive continuous improvement initiatives.
- Facilitate collaboration across cross-functional teams and stakeholders to ensure alignment on goals and deliverables.
- Provide transparency on risks, blockers, and dependencies to leadership during Scrum of Scrums and other forums.
- Support quarterly planning (IBR) and ensure alignment with strategic objectives and business roadmap.
- Maintain Jira boards, dashboards, and ensure proper Agile hygiene and documentation.
- Participate in release management activities including change requests, deployment monitoring, and coordination.
- Conduct Agile maturity assessments and coach teams toward higher performance.
- Ensure compliance with change management and release processes.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- 7+ years of experience as a Scrum Master with strong project management experience.
- Proven experience delivering projects within the Financial Services or Banking domain.
- Strong understanding of Agile frameworks, Scrum principles, and best practices.
- Experience facilitating Agile ceremonies and managing multiple concurrent initiatives.
- Hands-on experience with Agile tools such as Jira, Confluence, SharePoint, and Microsoft Project.
- Ability to influence teams without formal authority and drive collaboration.
- Strong problem-solving, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
- Experience in release and change management processes (e.g., Remedy or similar tools).
- Demonstrated ability to track metrics, analyze performance, and implement improvements.
