    Description

    Role: Scrum Master / Project Manager 

    Employment Type: Full-Time

    Workplace Type: Remote 

    Location: Washington, DC, USA

    Our federal client is seeking an experienced Scrum Master / Project Manager to manage their cloud-hosted systems and DevOps initiatives. 

    The position focuses on ensuring effective project delivery, managing the CI/CD environment, and adhering to federal standards for IT security and compliance.

    KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

    • Facilitate Agile ceremonies and ensure adherence to Agile best practices. 
    • Manage timelines, budgets, risks, and dependencies for both fixed and on-demand activities.
    • Track progress and deliverables, providing updates during weekly stand-ups and monthly reporting.
    • Act as the primary liaison between project teams, contractors, and stakeholders to ensure deliverables meet expectations.
    • Oversee the operation and readiness of the CI/CD environment.
    • Coordinate deployment of patches, updates, and system enhancements.
    • Maintain and enforce the Quality Control Plan (QCP) for technical deliverables and accessibility standards.
    • Ensure compliance with federal IT security requirements, including NIST SP 800-53 and Section 508.
    • Manage resource allocation and ensure personnel meet onboarding and security requirements.


    KEY REQUIREMENTS

    • 5+ years of experience as a Scrum Master and/or Project Manager, preferably in cloud-based environments or federal contracts.
    • Proven track record of managing technical teams in Agile environments. 
    • Expertise in Agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban) and tools, such as Jira or Rally.
    • Familiarity with DevOps practices and tools, including Jenkins, Kubernetes, Docker, and Git.
    • Understanding of cloud-hosting environments and CI/CD systems.
      • Strong knowledge of IT security and compliance standards (e.g., NIST SP 800-53 and Section 508).

      Must be a U.S. citizen or legal resident with at least three years of continuous residency in the United States.
