Seasonal BOH Restaurant Staff

Position Summary

We are seeking dependable, motivated, and team-oriented Kitchen Staff (BOH) to join our Food & Beverage team!

This position is responsible for assisting with daily kitchen operations, including food preparation, cooking, maintaining cleanliness, and ensuring all meals meet established standards for quality, presentation, and food safety.

The ideal candidate is organized, works well in a fast-paced environment, and takes pride in preparing quality meals while contributing to a positive dining experience for our guests.

Seasonal Part Time 

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Prepare and cook menu items according to established recipes, portion sizes, and presentation standards.

• Set up and maintain kitchen stations, ensuring all necessary ingredients, equipment, and supplies are available.

• Assist with food preparation, including chopping vegetables, preparing meats, sauces, and other ingredients.

• Ensure food is prepared accurately, efficiently, and in a timely manner.

• Maintain consistent food quality, freshness, and presentation.

• Follow instructions and directions provided by the Chef or Kitchen Manager.

• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized kitchen environment.

• Follow proper food handling, sanitation, and safety procedures to prevent cross-contamination.

• Assist with receiving, stocking, labeling, and properly storing food products and supplies.

• Monitor inventory levels and communicate supply needs to management.

• Ensure proper food storage, rotation, and waste reduction practices.

• Clean and sanitize workstations, kitchen equipment, utensils, and food preparation areas.

• Assist other kitchen team members as needed to ensure smooth and efficient operations.

• Follow all company policies, procedures, and established food safety standards.

• Perform additional kitchen-related duties as assigned.

Qualifications and Skills

• Previous experience in a restaurant, kitchen, or food service environment preferred.

• Basic knowledge of food preparation, cooking techniques, and kitchen equipment.

• Understanding of food safety and sanitation practices.

• Strong communication, organization, and time management skills.

• Ability to multitask and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.

• Ability to follow recipes, instructions, and established procedures.

• Positive attitude, reliability, and willingness to learn.

• Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team.

Physical Requirements

• Ability to stand and walk for extended periods.

• Ability to lift and carry kitchen supplies and equipment as required.

• Ability to perform repetitive tasks, including food preparation and cleaning.

• Ability to work in a kitchen environment with exposure to heat, cooking equipment, and cleaning products.

Work Environment

• Fast-paced restaurant kitchen environment.

• Frequent interaction with kitchen staff, servers, and management.

• Must be available to work flexible schedules, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, based on operational needs.
