Seasonal Retail Sales Associate

Client Overview:
Our client is a luxury fashion brand recognized for its timeless designs, quality craftsmanship, and sophisticated approach to contemporary fashion. Our client is seeking a reliable, enthusiastic, and customer-focused Seasonal Retail Sales Associate to support the team during the busy holiday season.

Salary/Hourly Rate:
$25/hr

Position Overview:
This temporary position will assist with daily front-of-house and back-of-house operations while delivering an elevated customer experience that reflects the brand. The ideal candidate for the Seasonal Retail Sales Associate role will be personable, proactive, adaptable, and comfortable working in a fast-paced retail environment. A passion for fashion, strong communication skills, and the ability to provide exceptional customer service are essential. The schedule is 40 hours per week. The ideal candidate must have open availability, including weekends, with flexibility to work shifts scheduled within store hours of 10:00 AM to 8:00 PM PST.

Responsibilities of the Seasonal Retail Sales Associate:

• Provide exceptional customer service and create a welcoming shopping experience for all clients.
• Assist customers with product selections, styling recommendations, and general inquiries.
• Support sales efforts by engaging with clients, identifying their needs, and recommending products.
• Assist with POS transactions, purchases, returns, and exchanges.
• Support daily store operations, including opening and closing duties as needed.
• Assist with merchandising, replenishing merchandise, and maintaining floor presentation.
• Support back-of-house operations, including inventory organization, shipment processing, and stockroom maintenance.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and visually appealing sales floor.
• Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth daily operations and achieve store goals.

Required Experience/Skills for the Seasonal Retail Sales Associate:

• Strong communication, interpersonal, and customer service skills.
• Confidence in client engagement and building customer relationships.
• Sales-driven, proactive, and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment.
• Dependable, adaptable, and able to quickly learn product knowledge and store procedures.
• Professional demeanor and positive attitude.
• Ability to stand for extended periods and assist with daily store operations.
• Open availability, including weekends, and flexibility to work varying shifts.

Preferred Experience/Skills for the Seasonal Retail Sales Associate:

• Previous retail sales experience is preferred.
• Experience within contemporary fashion, designer, or luxury retail.
• Previous styling or clienteling experience.
• Genuine interest in fashion and luxury retail.
