Qualifications

• Valid Michigan Teacher Certificate with appropriate math endorsement of EX
• Bachelor's degree in Mathematics, Mathematics Education, or a related field
• Strong knowledge of secondary mathematics content, instructional strategies, and curriculum
• Demonstrate ability to differentiate instruction to meet the diverse academic needs of student

Primary Responsibilities

• Develop and deliver engaging, standards-based mathematics instruction aligned with district curriculum and Michigan Academic Standards
• Create lesson plans that emphasize conceptual understanding, procedural fluency, mathematical reasoning, and problem-solving
• Establish clear learning targets and success criteria for each lesson
