Secret-Cleared Electronics Technician

PGS Worldwide is seeking Secret-Cleared Electronics Technicians in Warner Robins, Georgia for one-year onsite contract-to-hire roles supporting a leading aerospace & defense company. These positions will perform component-level troubleshooting, repair, testing, and maintenance of complex electronic equipment and Electronic Warfare systems.

Required Skills

• Associate degree in Electronics or a related discipline, or an electronics-related military occupational specialty, with 3+ years of relevant electronics experience; or high school diploma/GED with 5+ years of relevant electronics experience.

• Active U.S. Government Secret clearance.

• Experience troubleshooting electronic equipment to the component level.

• Familiarity with oscilloscopes, digital multimeters, or similar electronic test equipment.

• Ability to recognize electronic components and work from schematics, diagrams, sketches, and technical instructions.

• Experience following test procedures, work instructions, and process documentation.

• Microsoft Word and Excel proficiency.

• Ability to work independently with limited supervision.

• Ability to work 2nd shift.

• U.S. citizenship required.

Preferred Skills

• Experience using Automatic Test Equipment (ATE) in a lab or production environment.

• Experience testing and troubleshooting RF assemblies and subassemblies.

• Experience testing and tuning microwave assemblies.

• Electronic Warfare systems experience.

• Soldering experience.

What You’ll Do

• Fabricate, assemble, and disassemble electronic subassemblies.

• Wire circuits, replace components, and repair electronic assemblies.

• Troubleshoot electronic systems to component level and determine causes of malfunction.

• Perform preventive maintenance on special test equipment and test stations.

• Take test measurements using spectrum analyzers, network analyzers, curve tracers, oscilloscopes, signal generators, and digital multimeters.

• Conduct routine engineering tests and detailed experimental testing.

• Perform calibration checks on electronic instruments.

• Apply practical electronic theory to diagnose and repair complex equipment.

Pay

• $36.31–$37.97 per hour, depending on technician level.
