Secret-Cleared RF Systems Engineers Algorithms & Target Tracking

PGS Worldwide is seeking Secret-Cleared RF Systems Engineers – Algorithms & Target Tracking in Baltimore, Maryland for one-year onsite contract-to-hire roles supporting a leading aerospace & defense company. These positions will develop and field advanced multi-function RF sensor capabilities, including tracking, sensor fusion, algorithm development, performance analysis, and system integration.

Required Skills

• Bachelor’s degree in a STEM discipline with relevant systems-engineering experience.

• Active U.S. Government Secret clearance required.

• Experience with RF systems, RF sensors, radar, or related applications.

• Experience with tracking, target tracking, sensor fusion, or algorithm development.

• Experience using MATLAB for analysis, modeling, or algorithm development.

• Experience applying systems-engineering principles throughout development, integration, and test.

• Experience analyzing system performance and technical data.

• Ability to work effectively with hardware, software, firmware, and systems-engineering teams.

• U.S. citizenship required.

• Ability to obtain Special Program Access.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with multi-target tracking.

• Experience with adaptive processing or sensor-fusion algorithms.

• Experience with RF signal processing.

• Experience developing models using MATLAB, Python, or C/C++.

• Experience with digital simulation and hardware-in-the-loop environments.

• Experience developing or validating RF sensor modes.

• Experience with radar or other RF sensing modalities.

• Experience defining requirements, interfaces, architectures, or use cases.

• Top Secret clearance or previous Special Program Access.

What You’ll Do

• Develop and evaluate advanced RF sensor and tracking capabilities.

• Support development and fielding of multi-function RF subsystems.

• Develop parametric models, visualizations, and data-driven analyses.

• Support sensor requirements definition and use-case validation.

• Develop and refine tracking, sensor-fusion, and RF algorithms.

• Analyze long-range search, tracking, radar, and electronic-surveillance data.

• Evaluate system and algorithm performance.

• Develop and derive technical requirements.

• Conduct trade studies and assess candidate technologies.

• Support integration of sensor modes and trackers from digital simulation into laboratory and test environments.

• Support hardware-in-the-loop verification and system integration.

• Perform root-cause analysis and resolve system-performance issues.

• Collaborate with hardware, software, firmware, and systems teams.

• Engage with customers to balance sensor functionality and performance requirements.

Work Schedule / Shift

• 100% onsite in Baltimore, Maryland

• 9/80A schedule

Pay

• $115.52 per hour.
