Security Analyst - Project Lead

About the Role
Our Client is an IT service provider to state and local government agencies, divisions and offices. They need an experienced ServiceNow Software Architect to join their Office of Information Technology Services.

Working with little supervision, you will design, develop, test, configure, implement and give top-level support for the ServiceNow platform used by the Client’s ITSM stakeholders. You will research third-party and cloud solutions so integrations succeed, and you will pass that knowledge on to the team. You will be a subject matter expert in the application and the technology behind it, and you will mentor Software Engineers and Associate Software Engineers as they grow.

Key Responsibilities

• Maintain the three ServiceNow environments (Dev, Test, Production), including configurations, changes, system updates, promotions, cloning and security.
• Create, maintain and improve forms, workflows, cloud integrations and third-party integrations on the ServiceNow platform, including automation and new self-service features.
• Use ServiceNow capabilities to build a single framework for provisioning and governing resources across multiple clouds.
• Use the ServiceNow toolset to improve workflows and automate processes.
• Mentor junior engineers and share knowledge across the team.

Required Skills (in order of importance)

1. Strong experience managing and developing a large-scale ServiceNow environment
2. ITSM concepts and frameworks
3. Server API development
4. PowerShell

• Able to keep good working relationships with staff, users, management, vendors and officials

Education

• Bachelor’s degree in communications, business administration, computer science, management information science or a related field, plus 2 years of hands-on experience implementing ITIL, OR
• Associate degree in one of those fields, plus 4 years of hands-on experience implementing ITIL
