Security Guard Full Time Reception

As a Security Guard Full Time Reception in Mira Loma, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Retail/Malls, and more. As an Access Control Officer at a retail location, you will help maintain a welcoming, secure environment by managing access points, verifying badges and credentials, monitoring entry activity, and assisting visitors and team members. You will provide outstanding customer service, communicate clearly, and help deter security-related incidents. Job Schedule:

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients, customers, and visitors while carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, access-control requirements, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Monitor entrances, exits, and restricted areas; verify authorized access for employees, vendors, deliveries, and contractors in accordance with site procedures.
• Respond to access-related incidents, customer concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner; notify appropriate site contacts and/or emergency responders as needed.
• Maintain accurate access logs, visitor records, and incident documentation in accordance with site-specific requirements.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of retail areas, receiving areas, entrances, exits, and the property perimeter to help identify unauthorized access and unusual activity.

Minimum Requirements:

• At least 1 year of security-related experience is required.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• A state, county, or city-issued security-related license is preferred.
• A guard card or license is preferred.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
