Job Description
Nucor Fastener Indiana is hiring a 1st Shift SecurityGuard in St. Joe, IN, to support site access, safety communication, and daily traffic coordination at the facility. The top requirements for this role are a high school diploma or equivalent, at least six months of experience using Microsoft Office and Microsoft Teams, and legal authorization to work in the U.S. without visa sponsorship.

Job Responsibilities
- Oversee site access and traffic flow: Monitor visitor, contractor, and vendor entry/exit while managing load traffic and issuing/tracking gate passes and shipping documentation.
- Maintain safety, communication, and site compliance: Communicate safety guidelines, emergency procedures, and environmental awareness to site visitors, while providing and logging required PPE.
- Facility and office support: Maintain guard shack upkeep and handle daily mail and UPS/FedEx package distribution

Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Minimum of 6 months of experience with Microsoft Office and Microsoft Teams in a work, school, or similar environment.
- Ability to demonstrate, initiate, lead, and uphold strict safety standards and policies at all times.
- Preferred: Previous customer service experience or experience in an industrial/manufacturing setting working with vendors and contractors.
- Must be legally authorized to work in the U.S. without current or future visa sponsorship.
