Security Flex Officer

Pay: $21.00–$23.50 per hour

Schedule: Variable shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays

Position Overview

OnView Integrated Solutions is seeking a dependable, professional Security Flex Officer to provide coverage across multiple client locations. This position supports scheduled assignments, employee call-outs, vacation coverage, and temporary security needs.

The ideal candidate can adapt to different sites, follow post orders, communicate clearly, and maintain a strong attendance record. Assignments may include stationary security, property patrols, access control, and other security duties based on operational needs.

Responsibilities

• Provide security coverage at assigned locations and follow site-specific post orders.

• Conduct foot patrols, property inspections, and security tours.

• Monitor access points and report suspicious activity, safety hazards, and property concerns.

• Complete accurate incident reports, hourly activity reports, and required tour entries.

• Maintain communication with the Command Center, supervisors, and management.

• Respond professionally to residents, visitors, employees, and client representatives.

• Follow emergency procedures and promptly escalate incidents.

• Arrive on time, in the required uniform, and ready for duty.

• Accurately record work time and take meal and rest breaks as scheduled, coordinating coverage with the Command Center or supervisor.

• Use required reporting and timekeeping applications. Personal smartphone use is required at certain assignments, with applicable company reimbursement.

Flex Position Expectations

• Work at different locations as assigned.

• Maintain availability for the shifts agreed upon during hiring.

• Respond promptly to scheduling requests and confirm accepted assignments.

• Be available for short-notice coverage within agreed availability.

• Follow each location’s procedures and request clarification when needed.

• Contact the Command Center at 408-677-6429 each day you need to call out and follow company notification procedures.

Qualifications

• Current California BSIS Guard Card.

• Previous security experience preferred.

• Reliable transportation to assigned locations.

• Strong communication, observation, and customer service skills.

• Ability to use smartphone applications and prepare clear written reports.

• Ability to perform essential duties, including standing, walking, and outdoor patrols, with or without reasonable accommodation.

• Valid driver’s license and acceptable driving record if assigned vehicle patrol duties.
