Security Installation Technician

Loyal Source is looking for a skilled Security Installation Technician for an employment opportunity in Ashland, Kentucky.

About the Role:

The Security Installation Technician will play a vital role within our Technical Services division, focusing on the installation of access control systems, fire alarms, and CCTV in a commercial setting. Initially, the technician will engage in a travel position in Jackson, Kentucky, lasting approximately six weeks, with lodging and per diem provided. Upon completion, the technician will transition to local work in Ashland, Kentucky. This position demands expertise in maintaining security installations and ensuring the safety and security of client sites.

Key Responsibilities:

• Install and maintain access control systems, fire alarms, and CCTV in commercial settings.
• Travel to project sites 4 days a week (Monday to Thursday) and work onsite.
• Utilize a personal work-related vehicle for the first six months (mileage reimbursement provided).
• Perform physical duties such as handling, pushing, and pulling equipment, and lift up to 25 pounds.
• Meet the required lift certification before the first day of employment.

Required Qualifications:

• 3+ years of experience installing access control, fire alarms, and CCTV systems in a commercial setting.
• Ability to travel 4 days a week (Monday to Thursday).
• Ability to pass a background check and drug screening.
• Lift certification is essential before beginning employment.
• Ability to perform physical tasks and possess the necessary specific vision abilities.

Schedule: Monday to Thursday, 8AM to 7PM. Travel will be required for this role.
