As an Access Control Officer at a logistics and distribution location, you will help manage entry points, verify badges and visitor access, monitor activity, and provide outstanding customer service. You will use computer or tablet systems to document access-related information, communicate professionally with employees and visitors, and help maintain an orderly environment. Pay Rate: $15.45 / Hour

Job Schedule:

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, drivers, and/or associates at a logistics and distribution location by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Monitor and manage access control points, verify credentials, document visitor and contractor entry, and direct authorized personnel and deliveries in accordance with site procedures.
• Respond to incidents, access concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner; notify appropriate site contacts and/or emergency responders as needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of access points, loading areas, parking areas, and the business perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
• Complete accurate reports, logs, and incident documentation while communicating relevant observations to Allied Universal leadership and client representatives.

Minimum Requirements:

• Have at least 6 months of security-related experience.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Comfortably using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
