As a Security Officer – Warehouse Access Control, you will play a critical role in maintaining the safety and security of a busy warehouse environment by conducting patrols, verifying access credentials, and ensuring only authorized personnel are permitted in designated areas.

Must have experience with security patrols, access control, badge verification, and visitor management
Must possess or be able to obtain and maintain a SIDA Badge

Responsibilities of a Warehouse Access Control Security Guard

• Conduct routine foot and vehicle patrols throughout warehouse facilities and surrounding property
• Verify employee, contractor, and visitor credentials before granting access to secure areas
• Monitor access points and ensure individuals possess the appropriate authorization for restricted locations
• Enforce site security procedures and access control policies
• Perform badge checks and inspect credentials to prevent unauthorized entry
• Document observed events and incidents, writing detailed reports
• Respond quickly to security incidents, emergencies, or suspicious activity
• Monitor facility operations and report safety or security concerns
• Collaborate with site management, employees, and emergency responders when required
• Ensure the safety and protection of individuals, property, and assets throughout the warehouse environment

Qualifications of a Warehouse Access Control Security Guard

• Be authorized to work in the U.S.
• Be able to provide documentation of High School Diploma or GED
• Be able to ace (and pass) an extensive screening process
• Possess or be able to obtain and maintain a SIDA Badge
• Strong report writing skills
• Excellent observation and attention-to-detail skills
• Experience with access control, badge verification, and security patrols
• Strong proficiency with technology and security systems
• Ability to stand and walk for extended periods
• If you have Security, Military, Law Enforcement, Warehouse Security, or Access Control experience – even better!
• You have a state license if required
