Security Officer Driver

As a Security Officer Digital Credential Driver in Sulphur, LA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Chemical/Petrochemical, and more. As an Access Control Officer at a chemical and petrochemical location, you will manage site entry, verify credentials, monitor access activity, and help maintain a secure environment for personnel and visitors. You will provide outstanding customer service, communicate clearly, and support security-related operations with integrity and teamwork. This driving position requires a valid driver’s license in the job state.

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to personnel, contractors, and visitors by carrying out site-specific access-control procedures, policies, and emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Monitor entry and exit points, verify credentials and authorizations, and maintain accurate visitor, contractor, and delivery records in accordance with site requirements.
• Respond to incidents, access concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, notifying appropriate site contacts and emergency personnel as needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of assigned access points, operational areas, and the perimeter to identify unusual conditions and help to deter unauthorized access.
• Support a controlled work environment at a chemical and petrochemical location by following applicable security-related protocols and reporting observed policy violations or hazards.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver’s license is required in the state where the job is located.
• Possess at least one year of law enforcement experience, two years of security-related supervisor or manager experience, or three years of security-related experience.
• At this site there are limited on-site facilities such as portable toilets and rustic guard shacks.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
