As a Vehicle Patrol Security Officer At a Beverage Distribution Center in Manchester, PA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Retail/Malls, and more. As an Access Control Officer at a retail location, you will manage access points, support badge-related processes, conduct routine patrols, and remain visible to help deter security-related incidents. This driving post requires a valid driver's license in the job state. Position Type: Full Time

Pay Rate: $18.55 / Hour

• Age Requirement:

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients, customers, and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Monitor and control access to the retail location, verifying credentials, following visitor procedures, and maintaining accurate access-related records.
• Respond to incidents, unauthorized access attempts, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating concerns according to site procedures.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of the retail location, entrances, employee areas, and perimeter to help identify and report unusual conditions.
• Assist with directing visitors, supporting opening and closing procedures, and communicating security-related concerns to site management and Allied Universal leadership.

Minimum Requirements:

• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• A valid driver's license is required in the state where the job is located.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
