As a Security Officer Full Time Unarmed Patrol Alarm Monitoring in San Francisco, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Retail/Malls, and more. As an Unarmed Security Officer at a retail location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and support a welcoming environment for visitors and staff. You will conduct routine patrols, respond to alarms and access-control needs, and deliver exceptional customer service through clear communication. Pay Rate: $25.00 / Hour

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, and retail patrons by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents, customer concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols throughout retail common areas, entrances, parking areas, and the surrounding perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access points and observe activity throughout the location, reporting suspicious conditions, hazards, and policy violations to appropriate personnel.
• Prepare accurate activity and incident reports and communicate relevant information to site management and Allied Universal leadership.

Minimum Requirements:

• At least one year of security-related experience is required.
• Experience with alarm panels is preferred.
• A guard card or license is preferred.
• Experience with access control and badge systems is preferred.
• Ability to lift up to 20 pounds is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
