As an Unarmed Patrol Officer, you will monitor and patrol a behavioral health setting, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, and support a welcoming environment for clients, visitors, and staff. You will respond to security-related concerns, assist with de-escalation and restraint situations as needed, and deliver outstanding customer service. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and staff while carrying out site-specific security-related procedures, policies, and emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents, critical situations, and requests for assistance in a calm, professional, and problem-solving manner.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of the facility, grounds, parking areas, and perimeter to help identify and report unusual conditions or unauthorized activity.
• Assist with access control, visitor management, and documentation of incidents, observations, and security-related activities in accordance with site procedures.
• Interact respectfully with individuals who may be experiencing behavioral health-related concerns and notify appropriate site personnel or emergency responders when needed.

Minimum Requirements:

• Fluently speak, read, and write Spanish.
• Have at least 1 year of security-related experience.
• Be able to restrain individuals in a hospital setting.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• CPR certification is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
