Security Officer
Overview
GuardLogic is seeking dependable and professional Security Officers to join our team. In this role, you will help maintain a safe and secure environment by actively monitoring assigned locations, conducting patrols, and providing excellent customer service to clients and visitors.
What You'll Do
- Conduct routine foot and/or vehicle patrols of buildings, grounds, and parking areas
- Monitor security cameras and surveillance systems
- Identify and report safety, security, or maintenance concerns
- Complete daily logs, reports, and required documentation
- Provide directions and assistance to visitors and guests
- Carry out site-specific duties as assigned
What We're Looking For
- High school diploma or GED (or equivalent experience)
- Valid driver's license (for positions requiring vehicle patrol)
- Strong attention to detail and situational awareness
- Ability to remain professional and responsive in a variety of situations
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Physical Requirements & Work Environment
- Ability to stand, walk, and perform patrols for extended periods
- Capable of lifting up to 20 lbs regularly and up to 50 lbs occasionally
- Willingness to work in varying conditions, including outdoor environments and extreme temperatures
Requirements
- Must be at least 18 years old
- Must pass a pre-employment drug screening
- No felony or serious misdemeanor convictions
- Availability to work flexible schedules, including nights, weekends, holidays, and extended hours
