As a Security Officer Lobby Reception Position in Kansas City, KS, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries. As a Front Desk Security Professional with Allied Universal, you will be the welcoming presence at a professional location, providing exceptional customer service, visitor assistance, access support, and clear communication. You will help maintain awareness of security-related activity, respond to routine inquiries, and support a professional environment. What You'll Do:

• Provide exceptional customer service to visitors, employees, and/or contractors at a front desk location by carrying out site-specific security-related procedures and policies.
• Welcome guests, verify identification and authorization, issue visitor credentials, and maintain accurate visitor and access records.
• Monitor access points, alarms, cameras, and/or other assigned systems; report unusual activity or access concerns according to site procedures.
• Respond to incidents, requests, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following emergency response protocols when appropriate.
• Answer incoming calls, provide directions and general information, and communicate professionally with building personnel, visitors, and Allied Universal leadership.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
