    Security Officer – Overnight Part Time
     
    Phoenix, AZ
    Starting Pay: $VARIES per Hour
     
    We are seeking professional, reliable, and customer-focused Security Officers to join our team at a high-volume location in the Phoenix Metropolitan area. This role is responsible for maintaining a safe, secure, and welcoming environment for customers, employees, vendors, and visitors while ensuring compliance with company policies.
    The ideal candidate is observant, dependable, and comfortable working in a fast-paced setting. Security Officers serve as the first point of contact for many and play a vital role in creating a positive experience while protecting all.
     
    Key Responsibilities
    • Control and monitor access for residents, guests, vendors, and visitors
    • Verify credentials and ensure compliance with all access procedures
    • Maintain a visible, professional security presence
    • Observe and report suspicious activity or security concerns
    • Complete accurate incident and daily activity reports as needed using mobile device with NFC capabilities
    • Assist in professionally and calmly de-escalating conflicts or disruptive situations
    • Ensure compliance with policies, procedures
    • Provide excellent customer service while maintaining a professional demeanor
    Qualifications
    • Active Arizona Guard Card (required)
    • Valid Arizona driver's license with a clean driving record
    • Ability to remain alert, attentive, and detail-oriented throughout the shift
    • Strong communication, customer service, and conflict-resolution skills
    • Comfortable using smartphones, tablets, and mobile reporting applications
    • Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills
    • Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently with minimal supervision
    • Ability to stand, walk, and work outdoors in varying weather conditions
    • Maintain a professional appearance and always conduct with a great attitude
    Schedule
    Available shifts are below and primarily support evening operations. Scheduling may vary based on business needs and employee availability.
     
    Current Opening:
    • Thursday’s 11:00PM – 5:00AM near 23rd Ave & Happy Valley (6 hours)
    • Friday’s        9:00PM – 5:00AM near 47th Ave & Buckeye Rd (8 hours)
    • Saturday & Sunday 6:00PM – 6:00AM near 32nd Street & McDowell (24 hours)
    • Saturday & Sunday 10:00PM – 6:00AM near 5th Street & Roanoke (16 hours)
    • Saturday & Sunday 6:00AM – 6:00PM near 68th Street & Chaparral Rd (24 hours)
    • Saturday & Sunday 3:30PM – 11:30PM near Apache Trail & Delaware Drive (24 hours)  Apache Junction
