As an Access Control Security Officer at a manufacturing and industrial location, you will help manage entry points, verify access credentials, monitor activity, and support a welcoming environment for employees and visitors. You will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, and communicate professionally. This is a driving position. Pay Rate: $17.00 / Hour

• Comfortable Using Computer or Tablet (B204):

• Proficiency in using computers or tablets is essential. Candidates should be comfortable navigating software applications, entering data, and utilizing communication tools effectively.

• Customer Service Experience (B219):

• A background in customer service is required. Candidates should possess strong interpersonal skills, the ability to handle inquiries and complaints professionally, and a commitment to providing excellent service to clients and visitors.

• Security Experience:

• Candidates must have a minimum of one year of relevant security experience (C115).

• All communications regarding this requirement should emphasize the importance of prior experience in ensuring the safety and security of our operations.

• Valid Driver's License:

• Candidates must possess a valid driver's license in the job state (C124).

• It is essential to verify the validity of the driver's license during the interview process and document this verification in the candidate's file.

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and/or contractors while carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities at a manufacturing and industrial location.
• Monitor and control access at entry points, verify identification and credentials, manage visitor and contractor check-in, and maintain accurate access records.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of production areas, warehouses, parking areas, and the perimeter to identify and report unusual conditions or unauthorized access.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating concerns according to site procedures.
• Assist with maintaining orderly vehicle, pedestrian, and delivery access while helping to deter unauthorized entry.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver's license is required in the state where the job is located.
• At least one year of security-related experience is required.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
