Security Officer - School Mobile Patrols

Location: Plano, TX, 75024

Job Summary:

The Security Officer - will be responsible for maintaining a safe and secure environment for employees, visitors, and clients by patrolling and monitoring school premises and personnel. The Security Officer will also be responsible for responding to alarms and emergencies, completing reports, and communicating with local law enforcement as needed. 

Key Responsibilities:

• Patrol premises regularly to maintain order and establish a visible presence
• Monitor school area to ensure that the area is safe
• Respond to alarms and emergencies, such as medical emergencies or criminal activity
• Investigate and report any suspicious behavior or activity
• Complete daily activity reports and incident reports as needed
• Communicate with local law enforcement as needed
• Perform other duties as assigned by management

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Active Security license 
• Valid Texas driver's license
• Ability to pass a background check and drug screening
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Ability to handle stressful situations calmly and professionally
• Previous security experience preferred
