Qualifications:

High

School

diploma

or

equivalent.

Successful

completion

of

federal

and

state

criminal

background

checks.

Applicant

must

have

a

basic

working

knowledge

of

school

safety

plans

and

security

measures

Prior

work

record

must

demonstrate

good

working

habits,

excellent

attendance

record

and

supervision.

State

recognized

Ohio

Peace

Officer

Training

(OPATA)

certification

or

equivalent

is

preferred

but

not

required.

Organization

and

problem-solving

skills.

Ability

to

use

discretion

in

managing

confidential

information.

High

quality

written

and

verbal

communication

skills.

Basic

computer

skills
