Job Summary:
Answers telephones, gathers information and dispatches officers in a polite, professional manner.
Monitors digital alarms, such as fire alarm, Infant alarm, panic alarm and access control systems; analyzes activations, and dispatches appropriate personnel.
Responsible for utilizing the overhead paging system to announce medical codes and pages medical staff and physicians within the medical center.
Receives emergency medical calls and dispatches medical staff to emergency code situations.
Operates CCTV systems and troubleshoot technical problems.
Maintains recording devices and review contents for suspects to assist in investigations.
Monitors the security radio communications equipment for officers in the field and alerting the appropriate personnel in the event of emergencies, unusual circumstances, and/or officer needs assistance calls. In emergency situations, responsible for notifying key management personnel, senior staff and appropriate law enforcement agencies.
Educational Requirements:
High School Diploma/GED
Licenses:
Active California Guard Card
Must possess a valid California Drivers License
