Requirement: Security Planning Program Support, Team Leader

Job Description: The candidate will lead the Security Planning Program Support branch, which supports security planning for special events and public gatherings, active assailant preparedness, insider threat, and conflict prevention resources. This position will assist the Program Manager in managing project timelines for the branch and will stay in constant communication with the Program Manager on branch tasks. The Team Leader will oversee product, workshop, and training development and the data visualization support that tracks program metrics. The Government has designated this role as Key Personnel.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage branch project timelines in coordination with the Program Manager.
• Lead planning for security operations supporting special events and public gatherings.
• Direct development of security and insider threat planning guidance, workshops, and products.
• Oversee new and revised curriculum, including the interactive e-learning course on de-escalation.
• Coordinate delivery of online training, webinars, and in-person instruction.
• Guide stakeholder needs and satisfaction assessments and non-traditional community outreach.
• Oversee data visualization of program performance metrics (Power BI, Tableau, Excel, Google Analytics).
• Provide branch inputs to monthly progress reports.

Qualifications/Requirements:

We are looking for a team leader with deep experience in security planning, targeted violence prevention, and training development who can manage a branch of analysts and trainers. The ideal candidate has led product and curriculum development for public and private sector stakeholders. They must coordinate closely with a program manager and keepdeliverables on schedule.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree (Master's preferred) in security, emergency management, public administration, or a related field.
• 8+ years of experience in security planning, targeted violence prevention, or related program support.
• Experience leading a team and managing project timelines.
• Experience developing or delivering in-person and virtual training.
• Ability to obtain and maintain a DHS/CISA EOD and fitness determination.
• U.S. Citizenship.

Highly Desired Qualifications:

• Experience with active shooter/assailant preparedness, de-escalation, or insider threat programs
• Familiarity with ADDIE or Kirkpatrick training evaluation models
• Experience engaging faith-based organizations and small business communities
• Prior CISA or DHS support
• Active Secret clearance
• Experience with Power BI or Tableau reporting

Salary Range: $120,000 - $155,000 - per year
