SECURITY SYSTEMS TECHNICIAN
Job Description/Responsibilities:
Install, program, and test electronic Integrated Security Systems to include but not be limited to
- IP Video/VMS Surveillance Systems
- Access Control
- Intrusion Security
- Intercom Systems
- Integration of above system software
Responsibilities will include front-end project management of assigned jobs to assist PM and/or Operations Manager with ongoing project labor planning and sub-contractor coordination, on-site construction/safety meetings, and identification of potential change order opportunities.
Ability to read and interpret blueprints, specifications, schematics, operational product manuals, and software programs.
Qualifications:
- Working knowledge of electronic Access and VMS security systems integration
- Programming experience with all facets of Integrated Security Systems
- Excellent reading, writing, and comprehensive skills
- Able to work on ladders, lifts, and scaffolding
- Valid driver's license with a good driving record
- Excellent safety history
- Team Player, i.e. coordinate with other installers, technicians, sales staff, and management.
Desired Experience and Certifications (preferred but not required):
- Idaho State Limited Energy Journeyman License*
- LenelS2 (full product suite)
- Identiv/Hirsch
- Avigilon
- Milestone
- Aiphone
- Zenitel
- Idaho State Limited Energy Journeyman License, preferred and required to be attained within 6 months of employment
