Position Details

Position Details:

• Safelite is a nationwide retailer for glass windshields and glass replacements for vehicles - driver will be hauling finished windshields and installation parts for Safelite retail stores.
• This position involves touch deliveries unloading with a liftgate and will periodically have no touch live unload deliveries to warehouses.
• Drivers should expect to unload at the majority of their stops.
• All product is preloaded on to carts with wheels by the warehouse but drivers should expect to unload at all store locations within the Texas network
• Retail store deliveries require driver to roll the product on to our trailer using the dock at the DC and strap the product down using straps and e-tracks.
• Warehouse deliveries are are preloaded and no touch
• All drivers are expected to be involved in both retail and warehouse loads
• Required layovers in operating areas of TX, OK, LA, and KS
• Routes assigned based on scheduling needs of the account..
• Drivers should be comfortable using liftgate
• Routes assigned based on scheduling needs of the account.

Additional Information:

• PPE is required on site including safety vest, glasses, and steel toe boots. All will be provided.
• JBH will reimburse $100/yr for steel toe boots.
• All trucks are Automatic, Freightliner or International
