At Quality Equipment, there are opportunities to grow and advance in your career.We are currently looking for a Semi Truck Driver to join us in our Wilson store.PURPOSEOperates vehicles to transport farm equipment and bulk oil for the dealership. May instruct customers on basic equipment operating procedures. Delivers bulk oil to customers on oil delivery truck.BASIC FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIESTransports equipment to/from customers and/or between dealer facilities; may also pick-up new equipment from a John Deere factory if necessary.Supports the sales department with equipment delivery, as needed.Maintains records of pickup and deliveries and obtains necessary signatures and receipts.Maintains all required certifications in line with DOT, OSHA, and Company policies.Accounts for all time and for all distance traveled in performing assigned duties.Maintain assigned trucks and related equipment in good condition.May instruct customers on basic equipment operating procedures as required.May assist in out of state bulk oil pickup using tanker trailerOperates bulk oil delivery truck to deliver bulk engine & hydraulic oil to customers and QE locations.Follows proper procedures regarding bulk oil transfer and deliveriesAlways conducts self so as to be an ambassador of the dealershipEXPERIENCE, SKILLS, AND KNOWLEDGE REQUIREMENTS1+ year(s) experience as a semi-trailer truck operator.1+ year(s) experience hauling heavy equipment.CDL license with tanker endorsement.Valid Medical Card that will qualify for interstate delivery.Be able to operate and drive company specific equipment, vehicles and all other products sold by the dealership.
