About the Opportunity
Broadstaff is conducting a confidential search on behalf of a well-established broadband engineering, GIS transformation, and network design services organization with nearly 30 years of industry experience.
Our client supports some of the largest broadband operators in North America and is expanding its U.S. sales organization to drive aggressive growth across Tier 1, Tier 2, Tier 3, regional, municipal, and rural broadband providers.
We are seeking a proven business development professional with strong existing relationships across the broadband ecosystem who can immediately open doors and generate new revenue opportunities.
This is a true hunter role focused on acquiring new customers and expanding market presence within broadband engineering, GIS, fiber design, OSP engineering, network planning, and network data management services.
What You'll Do
- Develop and execute a strategic new business development plan across assigned accounts and territories
- Generate net-new opportunities with broadband operators, ISPs, MSOs, utility broadband providers, and related ecosystem partners
- Leverage existing industry relationships to secure meetings with key decision-makers
- Build and maintain a pipeline of qualified opportunities
- Lead opportunities from prospecting through contract execution
- Collaborate with engineering, GIS, delivery, and pre-sales teams to develop client solutions
- Attend industry events, conferences, customer meetings, and partner engagements nationwide
- Drive revenue growth through consultative solution selling

Required Qualifications
- 10+ years of telecommunications, broadband, engineering services, or GIS sales experience
- Demonstrated success generating net-new business revenue
- Current quota-carrying sales experience
- Existing relationships with broadband operators and service providers
- Understanding of FTTH, FTTx, HFC, OSP, broadband engineering, or network planning environments
- Experience selling engineering services, professional services, consulting services, or managed services
- Ability to travel nationally as needed
- Strong communication, presentation, negotiation, and closing skills
