Job Title: Senior Account Executive (Mid-Market Cybersecurity and Compliance)

Location: Remote, United States (EST/CDT/MST)

Work Arrangement: Remote

Travel: 5% - 10%

Compensation: $130,000 base salary. OTE $260,000 (uncapped) + accelerators.

Quota: $1.6 million annual new business


Required Skills:

  • 5–10+ years B2B sales experience; cybersecurity, compliance, or tech-enabled services strongly preferred
  • Proven full-cycle sales ownership (prospecting through close, no SDR hand-off)
  • Track record of exceeding quotas $1M+; experience with $25K–$100K deal sizes
  • Demonstrated ability to sell to CISO, CTO, and CFO personas


Preferred Skills:

  • Experience selling managed security (MDR), penetration testing, or remediation services
  • Familiarity with offensive security services and compliance frameworks (SOC 2, ISO 27001)

What You’ll Own

  • Generate and close net-new business against a $1.6M annual quota
  • Run full-cycle outbound - no SDR support; your pipeline, your process
  • Sell compliance (SOC 2, ISO 27001), penetration testing, remediation, and managed security to mid-market accounts
  • Engage CISO, CTO, and CFO stakeholders and drive multi-stakeholder buying decisions
  • Maintain pipeline coverage and forecast accurately
  • Partner with delivery and solution experts to scope and win complex engagements

 

Who You Are

  • 5–10+ years of B2B sales, ideally in cybersecurity, compliance, or tech-enabled services
  • Consistent quota attainment at $1M+ levels; comfortable with $25K–$100K deal sizes
  • Proven outbound engine - you don't wait for leads to come to you
  • Credible with technical buyers (CISO, CTO) and financial decision-makers (CFO)
  • High urgency, high accountability, bias for action
  • Seasoned, self-directed sales professional who has thrived in high-velocity environments and is ready to make a significant income leap
  • You're energized - not intimidated - by owning the entire deal, from cold outreach to close

 

What Success Looks Like

  • Fully ramped and closing deals within 2 quarters
  • Consistent new logo acquisition and repeatable outbound motion
