As a Senior Account Executive for Uber AI Solutions, you will drive accelerated sales revenue with our priority customers. This pivotal role requires you to be a strategic builder, establishing the overall direction, scale, and go-to-market strategy for this new growth area. You will own the entire sales lifecycle - from initial prospecting to final execution - collaborating closely with a geographically diverse team to ensure our collective success.
Leveraging your technical expertise and professional network, you will drive revenue and accelerate key partnerships by helping customers bridge the gap between complex training data needs and our scalable, modern AI solutions.
What Youll Do
- Cultivate and sustain strong multi-level relationships with various stakeholders from procurement and technical leaders to the C-suite to ensure smooth project delivery and drive account growth.
- Drive revenue growth, expansion, and retention by executing strategic plans for your assigned account.
- Generate and uphold precise weekly, monthly, and quarterly sales forecasts. This includes projecting revenue streams and identifying expansion opportunities across your accounts.
- Maintain and update CRM data for performance tracking, pipeline management, and account status reporting.
- Serve as the technology thought leader by leading co-creation initiatives to support your accounts and deliver on the roadmap.
- Stay at the forefront of the rapidly evolving AI landscape proactively advising accounts on how emerging trends and new AI frameworks will impact their training data needs.
- Foster a culture of high standards, integrity, collaboration, problem-solving, and accountability as an experienced account executive.
- Strategically partner internally with the operations, quality, and solutions teams, as well as the broader AI Solutions group.
Basic Qualifications
- 6 years of experience in B2B technology sales with a focus on SaaS, Cloud Infrastructure, or AIML services with long-term sales cycles (6-18 months) and multi-stakeholder buy-in.
- Experience in Consultative Selling or Value Engineering with the ability to draft complex SOWs and business cases that align technical capabilities like data labeling or HITL with specific customer outcomes.
- Bachelors degree or equivalent professional experience.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- 8 years of experience in B2B technology sales with a focus on SaaS, Cloud Infrastructure, or AIML services with long-term sales cycles (6-18 months) and multi-stakeholder buy-in.
- Technical understanding of GenAI & Agentic AI workflows with expertise in techniques like RLHF and SFT, etc.
- Domain expertise within the AI data solutions industry demonstrating a sophisticated understanding of the data supply chain for machine learning.
- Proven track record of managing and expanding relationships within hyper-scale technology enterprises.
- Proven ability to accelerate sales cycles, reducing time from quarters to months.
- Proficient in leveraging Salesforce and Excel for advanced reporting, data analysis, and process optimization.
- Proven experience within a start-up, scale-up, or high-growth entrepreneurial environment.
- A genuine collaborative approach to problem-solving, engaging as a trusted peer and partner with the business and all other relevant stakeholders across the organization.
- Exceptional skills in interpersonal communication, presentation, and negotiation.
- Demonstrated ability to represent the company at industry gatherings, cultivating relationships to create new leads and expand business.
Salary and Benefits
For San Francisco, CA-based roles, the base salary range for this role is USD 164,000 per year - USD 182,000 per year. You will be eligible to participate in Ubers bonus program and may be offered an equity award & other types of compensation. All full-time employees are eligible to participate in a 401k plan.
