Senior Account Manager, Personal Lines

Haas O'Brien Insurance Group is an owner-operated independent agency serving families and businesses from offices in Sandy Hook and New Milford. We're growing, and we're looking for an experienced account manager to take ownership of an established book of personal-lines clients, including a meaningful share of high-value homes and households.

This is a senior seat. You'll take over a defined book of loyal, long-standing clients, and the agency principal who built those relationships will introduce you to them personally. You'll have the authority to manage the book your way and the support of an experienced team.

Salary Range: $80000.00 - $95000.00 per year

Responsibilities

Own renewals for your book from start to finish, including review and remarketing across multiple carriers.

Advise clients on coverage, including high-value homeowners, auto, umbrella, and collections and valuables policies.

Build relationships with underwriters at standard and high-net-worth carriers.

Keep clients through the transition of their accounts, and round out accounts over time.

Keep accurate, current records in the agency management system.

Connecticut P&C license (or an out-of-state license you can transfer).

8 or more years of personal-lines account management in an independent agency.

Experience quoting multiple insurance carriers and processing applications to close

Vertafore AMS360 experience strongly preferred; Applied Epic, EZLynx or HawkSoft considered.

Proven multi-carrier marketing skills and the judgment to run a book independently.
