Senior Account Manager

About the Opportunity

We're partnering with an Insurance Technology Company that is transforming how commercial insurance brokers manage complex risks.
We're looking for a Senior Account Manager Lead to become the first dedicated servicing hire and help build the client servicing function from the ground up.
This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced commercial P&C professional who wants significant ownership and the opportunity to influence client relationships, processes, product development, and team growth.

What You'll Do

• Own ongoing relationships with mid-market commercial insurance accounts
  
• Manage renewals, certificates of insurance, endorsements, compliance questions, and day-to-day servicing
  
• Support producers during the sales-to-onboarding transition
  
• Partner directly with engineering to identify servicing workflows that can be improved through AI and automation
  
• Build servicing standards, processes, and playbooks from scratch
  
• Identify operational bottlenecks and recommend product improvements
  
• Help scale the client book as the company grows
  
• Hire, mentor, and eventually lead additional account executives
  

What We're Looking For

• 7+ years of commercial P&C servicing experience
  
• Deep experience managing mid-market commercial accounts
  
• Experience serving clients in construction, real estate, and/or manufacturing
  
• Active P&C broker-agent license (mandatory)

• Strong understanding of commercial P&C products, underwriting, claims, and compliance
  
• Experience with AI, automation, or technology-driven servicing transformation
  
• Demonstrated ability to build processes and playbooks from scratch
  
• Experience mentoring or leading teams
  
• Excellent client relationship and communication skills
  
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced, ambiguous startup environment
  
• Willing to work 4 days per week onsite in San Mateo
